Looking for a career change? Want to update your skills to be competitive with those just entering the workforce? Today there are many reasons individuals are choosing to continue their education. The College of Business understands these needs and has created several certificate programs to meet the demands of the fast-paced business environment. Whether you have a bachelor's degree or not, you can concentrate your studies in a specific area of business. Those who already have a bachelor's degree should also consider pursuing a certificate at the graduate level. No matter what you choose, continuing your education will allow you to apply the knowledge directly to your professional career.
The College of Business is committed to providing a comprehensive learning environment to provide the framework to be successful leaders and managers. The College of Business and Administration is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB accreditation is the most prestigious available for business schools across the United States, symbolizing the quality of our program.
The College offers eight Undergraduate Certificates consisting of 15-21 hours of coursework. To earn this certificate, coursework must be completed at UCCS and a grade point average of 2.5 is required for the certificate courses, with no grade below a C-. Depending on the courses needed and time availability, a certificate can be completed in as little as a year. Certificate coursework can be directly applied to an undergraduate degree, if the student does not already have a bachelor's degree in business.
To begin the Certificate Program, students must apply to the University as an unclassified student and complete the Certificate Application through the College of Business. A Certificate Application and flyer is located below.
