Educational Technologist
The Educational Technologist will analyze and implement strategies to advance business courses through the innovative use of technology, work with faculty to better understand a technology based teaching and learning environment, review technological options related to teaching needs with faculty, and train faculty in the use of new technology. The Educational Technologist must work closely with faculty, staff, and students in the College of Business, as well as related personnel from other schools and departments within the university.
Selected examples of work performed
- Collaborates with faculty to identify technologies that will enhance learning in on-campus and distance-based courses.
- Coordinates, develops and organizes programs - such as workshops, lectures, and training series - to inform faculty of trends in instructional technology, methods for appropriate and effective use of technology in teaching, and use of specialized tools.
- Evaluates and supports academic technology tools such as course management systems, multimedia graphics tools, text analysis programs, visualization software, lab simulation tools and specialized databases.

Alumni Support Professional (Alumni Coordinator)
The College of Business Alumni Coordinator is responsible for overall College of Business alumni advancement, including cultivation, coordination and development of Alumni activities through the College of Business to include the following:
- Execute alumni engagement and communication processes, including networking and community outreach events; communication, including newsletters, electronic newsletters, online social media/networking groups, and alumni web site.
- Manage processes for updating alumni database records in coordination with the CU Foundation.
- Support, as appropriate, alumni groups in distant areas.
- Coordinate and support action team meetings and related activities.
- Serve as the contact point for College of Business alumni.
Future funding for this position is dependent on fundraising activities by the Alumni Coordinator.
