WHAT TO INCLUDE IN ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS
About the Contest
We are soliciting submissions of original artwork/designs to communicate the aspirational and inspirational intents of the newly developed First Passport Holders Fund.
This fund will provide accessibility for students wanting to get a passport for the first time - but it needs an eye-catching design to help brand the opportunity! Seeing as this fund is for students, it only made sense that students create the fund's design/logo.
This design will be used to market potential donors and build student awareness on websites, in printed materials, etc. Specifically, the imagery should communicate fun experiences and adventures that come with international travels and studies. While the artwork can be developed in any form, submissions must be high-quality, high-resolution images or vector files developed in programs like Canva or Adobe.
Dimensions and Accepted File Types
- While the artwork can be developed in any form (Digital Native, etc.), submissions must be high-quality, high-resolution images or vector graphics developed in programs like Canva or Adobe. Acceptable file extensions for submissions will be JPEG, PNG, SVG, EPS or PDF. Editable design files will be requested for the winning design.
- Art must be in full color—but able to be formatted into black and white. Contestants are advised to avoid gradients or half-tones.
- Graphic designs should be easy to use, handle, resize and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. Suggestion: design should be impactful and appealing on both small and large scales.
- Minimum file size: 500 px x 500 px, RGB format 300res/dpi.
- Revisions might be required for submissions to be usable for UCCS multi-media purposes.
- No AI generated art will be accepted.
UCCS Brand Guidelines
The artwork should be somewhat consistent with UCCS branding guidelines.
