This award is determined by the Associate Dean and Department Chairs. All tenured and tenure-track faculty members who taught in the College of Business during the past year, with the exception of the Dean and Associate Dean, are eligible for this award. This decision is based upon, but not necessarily limited to, the composite FCQ scores, number of classes taught, number of preps, number of students, and additional materials that may be presented by an individual faculty member.

A few reasons that Monique is deserving of this award:

• Lead and coordinate curriculum development for the Business Analytics minor. Developed and taught a new course BUAN 4000 in Hyflex mode during the COVID pandemic.
• Continue to commit to services at Department, College, University, and System level. Served as Vice-Chair at CU System Budget Committee. Continue to serve as CU-UCCS EPUS Liaison.
• Successfully lead as Search Committee Chair for recruiting of the new OPTM/BUAN TT faculty.
• Co-lead a professional development workshop (PDW) at Decision Science Institute Annual Meeting titled: Online, Remote, Hybrid, or Flex? GIFT Exchange for Mixed Modes of Teaching.

This award is determined by the Associate Dean and Department Chairs. All tenured and tenure-track faculty members, with the exception of the Dean and Associate Dean, are eligible for this award. This decision is based upon articles, books, chapters, proceedings, etc. published in the past year. The Associate Dean and Department Chairs are expected to use their discretion in determining the impact of these publications when making this decision.

A few reasons that Tommy is deserving of this award:

• Published three peer-reviewed journal articles.
• Wrote one book chapter.
• Made two presentations.
• Authored one magazine article.
• Served as a Journal Editor and contributed to several editorial boards.

This award is determined by the Associate Dean and Department Chairs. All tenured and tenure-track faculty members, with the exception of the Dean and Associate Dean, are eligible for this award. This decision is based upon the service contribution of the College of Business faculty member. Multiple service awards may be made in any given year at the discretion of the Associate Dean and Department Chairs.

A few reasons that James is deserving of this award:

• Chairperson for the COB Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council which will bolster the EDI Initiative for the College of Business.
• Faculty Advisor and Mentor for the RMCA Case Competition.
• He serves on the COB Grad Team, the Scholarship Committee, the Student Research Center Executive Committee, the Faculty Assembly, and he is a Faculty Resource Center Teaching Fellow.

This decision is based upon, but not necessarily limited to, the composite FCQ scores, number of classes taught, the number of preps, number of students, and additional materials that may be presented by individual faculty members. Multiple instructor awards may be made in any given year at the discretion of the Associate Dean and Department Chairs.

A few reasons that Magan is deserving of this award:

• Sets high expectations for student performance and assists students in meeting those expectations.
• Enthusiastically takes on service assignments at the department, college, and university level.
• Flexibility in taking on multiple preps to meet the teaching needs of the department.
• During the COVID pandemic course migration to remote, provided valuable suggestions to the accounting faculty on teaching in that environment based on her extensive online teaching experience.

• Successfully lead, coordinate, and taught INFS 1100 classes in different instruction modes during the COVID pandemic.
• Flexibility and commitment to teaching multiple sections of classes to meet the needs of the Department during a challenging time.
• Actively serve at the Search Committee for the Deans of Students at UCCS.
• Actively serve in the CU-SIS Advisory Group.
• Continue to serve at COB Scholarship Committee.

Congratulations, Greg!

This is the highest award in the College of Business and is open to any tenure/tenure-track faculty with the exception of the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Business. The Associate Dean and Department Chairs identify three or four outstanding candidates and put forward their names to the tenure-track faculty for a faculty vote. In order to be eligible, an individual must be deemed to have exceeded expectations for teaching, intellectual contribution, and service in the past year.

A few reasons that Gurvirender is deserving of this award:

• Published two peer-reviewed journal articles and submitted six articles.
• Awarded a total of six funded external grants totaling over $12.5 million; submitted 10 grants this year.
• Made two presentations.
• Developed numerous new courses.
• Led development of the first-ever COB DBA program.
