The UCCS Ethics Initiative at UCCS College of Business is a resource for principle-based ethics education, serving students, educators, and the business community. The goal is to instill a high standard of ethics in our young people. The ethics initiative promotes principles as a constant foundation for personal and organizational ethical decision-making and leadership.

We seek to strengthen the teaching of principle-based ethics to foster a high standard of ethics in students, and ultimately beyond the campus and into the community. The UCCS Ethics Initiative at UCCS promotes the practical application of ethics-based principles in the curriculum, provides student opportunities to practice ethical leadership and ethical decision-making, and engages the business community all while encompassing the eight principles.

"Just one of those days when you realize that your education was totally worth it. Came across an ethically dubious situation at work today and realized that 1) I might not have completely recognized it if it had not been covered so thoroughly in my time at UCCS 2) had the tools to explain to my colleagues the issue and 3) had the tools to suggest an ethical solution to the issue. So thanks for being a leader on that and being effective in getting it covered in the MBA program."

"My friend and I decided to do the regional competition for Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative during the fall semester. We ended up winning first place, so we were later asked to join the UCCS state team! While ethics are taught in class, the extra exposure to ethics has helped me find real solutions to real world ethical issues. UCCS is a fantastic college that continues to grow and improve. UCCS will give you a great education and will help you build your career along the way."
