Common Myths and Facts
  • Fact: You are free to come and go anytime during the event. Have class until 7:20? No problem! We will be in Berger Hall until 8:00. Only able to attend the event for the first hour? Great! We are happy to have you for any amount of time between 6:00-8:00pm. 

  • Fact: Career Networking Night is about building relationships. If you are not currently in the market for a job or internship, we still highly recommended that you attend to expand your professional network. You never know what opportunities or connections you may make at Career Networking Night that will help with your future!

  • Fact: Career Networking Night is open to all students from freshmen to MBA/MSA students and alumni! Our employers have opportunities for everyone. Career Networking Night is also a great opportunity to learn about a wide variety of industries, ask business professionals about their careers and experiences, and determine what career pathways may be the best fit for you. Students at all levels can benefit from this event! 

  • Fact: Colorado Springs has a very tight-knit business community. We encourage you to talk to all employers even if they may be outside of your desired industry. Our employers have many connections and may be able to refer you to a friend or colleague that would be a great fit for you and your professional goals. Keep an open mind and talk to as many organizations as possible.
