Economic Forum

It is evident that the desire to increase the prominence and reputation of Colorado Springs is widely shared. I am so thrilled to work alongside you in advancing our city’s renown and influence.

Friends and supporters of the College of Business:

Earlier this month, we listened to Tatiana Bailey and Tim Quinlan discuss the state of the local, state, and national economies at the annual UCCS Economic Forum. We welcomed 560 attendees from the Colorado Springs business, civic, and academic communities to our campus for the first time in the event’s history. The forum was informative and very timely. It also reinforced what many of us already know: Colorado Springs is an amazing place to live, work, and play.

It is encouraging to be amongst a community of professionals who have such pride and enthusiasm for their city. The energy in the auditorium was palpable. It is evident that the desire to increase the prominence and reputation of Colorado Springs is widely shared. I am so thrilled to work alongside you in advancing our city’s renown and influence.

Colorado Springs is the fastest-growing city for millennials. Our College of Business emphasizes the production of the high quality graduates who are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in our professional community. These students will become your employees, coworkers, and eventually our civic leaders. It is critical that we educate our students with the tools and resources necessary to achieve career success.

When we work together to form well-trained business graduates, we all succeed. I look forward to future collaborations as we continue to provide students with new opportunities and programs that connect them to our business community.

My very best wishes,
