DBA Grant & Scholarship Opportunities 2023-2024

Grants and scholarships are classified as gifts and do not need to be repaid.

Grants are generally awarded based on availability and timing (example, first come, first serve).

Scholarships are awarded on a basis of academic achievement, financial need, or a combination of the two.

Colorado Cybersecurity Scholarship Varies--Minimum $5,000 for EDBA Students EDBA-Cyber students

The UCCS Scholarship Application is available in the MyUCCS Portal. It is part of the general scholarship application process.

For consideration, under the General application, answer YES to the following question:

Are you interested in pursuing cybersecurity academically and/or professionally? Answer yes if you wish to apply for consideration. 

The Colorado Cybersecurity Scholarship is awarded to new and continuing students interested in learning more about cybersecurity.

Admitted to the EDBA-Cyber program

June 1st

Graduate School Tuition Matching Grant

Up to $4,000 max/per year

Split Fall/Spring semesters and may only be used for tuition.

Graduate Students

(New students and non-residents will be prioritized)

The purpose of this tuition grant is to match stipends given to students for work related to the educational programs. Students must receive from their program/college/school a teaching assistantship, research assistantship, or funding related to service/internship directly related to the educational program.

3.0 GPA or higher and enrolled in 6 or more credit hours each semester

Students on provisional admission are not eligible.

Students who are using CU employee tuition benefits are not eligible for the tuition grant.

Admitted to the EDBA-Cyber program by April 1st.

 

Travel Awards for GSA Members

$400 per student

Currently enrolled graduate student in a degree-seeking program who are members of the Graduate Student Association (GSA)

These are allocated to help offset travel expenses for graduate students that travel to conferences that will further their research efforts, and the research efforts of the University. It can also be used for students who wish to travel to training and workshops that will contribute to their professional development

 

Application opens twice per year

The UCCS EDBA-Cyber programs qualify for federal financial aid, G.I. Bill, and employer reimbursement programs.
