The UCCS College of Business offers multiple opportunities to travel, study, and explore with faculty. Ideal for first-time international travelers, language students, individuals with limited time and/or travel expenses. Available for credit or non-credit seeking undergraduate and graduate students.

Tokyo Business & Culture: January 2026

Course and Credit Information

3 credit Tokyo Study Abroad classes for undergraduate (INTB 4613) and graduate (INTB 6993). Military student friendly. Students can opt to participate in the program not for credit. Priority acceptance will be given to those students seeking credit.

Eligibility

All students must be able to meet 3 times prior to start of the trip. Undergraduate and graduate students welcome. Undergraduate students must be second semester Freshman or above to enroll.

Dates

January 9 - 18, 2026

Itinerary 

  • January 9th - Leave from Denver/Colorado Springs.
  • January 10th - Arrive at Haneda International Airport. Guided neighborhood tour in the afternoon.
  • January 11th - Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market tour and walking tour of Tokyo (Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, Harajuku and more!).
  • January 12th - Yokohama Cup Noodle Museum and Kirin Beer Yokohama Factory tour & tasting.
  • January 13th - Tokyo National Museum and visit to Sensoji Temple.
  • January 14th - Experience the Fujisawa Smart City and see the Big Buddha in Kamakura.
  • January 15th - Kikkoman Soy Sauce Museum and factory tour. Japanese tea ceremony.
  • January 16th - Suginami Animation Museum.
  • January 17th - Free day to explore Tokyo.
  • January 18th - Return home.

Berlin: Spring Break 2026

  • March 23rd - Welcome & Campus Tour (ISM), Course 1, Spree River Cruise
  • March 24th - BMW Motorcycle Factory, Bernauer Strasse/ Dokumentations-zentrum
  • March 25th - LEMKE Brewery, KZ Sachsenhausen
  • March 26th - Public Transportation Company, Brandenburger Gate & Holocaust Memorial, Reichstag Guided Tour
  • March 28th - Farewell Graduation ceremony, Sanssouci Castle Potsdam
  • March 29th - Return home

Paris: Summer 2026

Program Information

Join the Psychology department and the College of Business on this amazing trip through Paris from a unique and engaging lens. After a successful run in Summer of 2024, we've revamped and relaunched this exciting trip to Paris with some returning faves and new itinerary highlights. We hope you can join us!

NOTE: priority will be given to applicants seeking academic credit for the experience.

**All participants will be required to participate in 2-4 pre-departure meetings, to be held in late Spring (dates TBD) 

Itinerary

This trip will run May 31 through June 7, 2026 and a tentative itinerary can be found below:

Saturday, May 30: Individual departure from the US*

Sunday, May 31: Arrival into Paris, group transfer to hotel, orientation, walking tour, welcome dinner

Monday: June 1: Breakfast, Eiffel Tower visit, Arc de Triomphe, scavenger hunt

Tuesday, June 2: Breakfast, Musee du Louvre visit, industry visit, Seine river cruise

Wednesday, June 3: Breakfast, 2 academic business visits

Thursday, June 4: Breakfast, day trip to Nantes with a visit to Chateau des ducs de Bretagne and free time to explore

Friday, June 5th: Breakfast, guest speaker, visit to Parisian University

Saturday, June 6th: Breakfast, free day

Sunday, June 7th: Breakfast, airport transfer, departure on individual flights back to the US

 

*NOTE: while the dates of the trip are officially listed as May 31-June 7, it's important to note that flights into Paris are overnight and depart from the US on Saturday, May 30th. 

Estimated Total Program Cost: $2,875

The estimated total program cost breaks down as follows:

  • $150 International Affairs non-refundable Education Abroad registration fee (due January 30th, 2026)
  • $2,725 program fee (non-refundable payment due to API in 2 payments, dates TBD)


Included in the program fee are the following items:

  • ​​Hotel and ground transportation
  • Meals listed on the itinerary
  • Entrance fees to any sites listed on the itinerary
  • Travel medical insurance

NOT included in the program cost are:

  • UCCS tuition (if taken for credit)
  • Additional meals
  • Tipping and personal spending money
  • Round trip flight to Paris
  • Travel/trip protection insurance


**Please note that students seeking credit will be billed tuition on their UCCS account at their regular student rate for the term.

Housing

All housing accomodations are in a 3-4 star hotel with breakfast provided. Also included are internet access, double occupancy rooms, and nearby dining facilities.

 

Passports and Immigration

All participants need to have a valid passport to participate in this program. The passport needs to be valid at least 6 months after the anticipated return date to the US. Participants holding a U.S. Passport do not need a visa or additional permission for this program. Those who do not hold a U.S. Passport should check with the closest embassy or consulate for the country they hold their passport from for entry requirements.
