Serve on a College Advisory Board
The UCCS College of Business supports various advisory boards and committees, sponsored by academic departments and programs in the college. Service on these boards provides our alumni, friends and businesses with direct contact to the mission of the College of Business while providing students, faculty and administrators with valuable industry networking and perspectives.

The specific skills vary with each individual board, but typically board members are middle to senior managers who have an interest or skill that aligns with the departments’ or programs’ mission. Board members support their units with ideas, active engagement with faculty and students, networking and financial gifts.
UCCS College of Business boards typically meet two or three times a year (with the occasional conference call), while programs and offices may meet monthly. Most programs run August through April. We understand that our board members’ time is valuable and limited. The College of Business advisory boards aim to balance timely engagement with respect to members’ time constraints and commitments.

Mentor a Current Student
R.O.A.R. Program
There’s pride and value in seeing students succeed and even more when you are an integral part of the success. We invite you to volunteer to help a student develop as a mentor in the ROAR Program. Students and mentors are paired based on industry of interest. This partnership between the Alumni Association and the Career Development Center is a great way to give back to your university while helping shape the future of our graduates.
