The Southern Colorado Ethics Summit — an event of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Collegiate Program at UCCS - is an immersive and relevant educational experience that promotes and demonstrates the value of principle-based ethics.

Based on the Daniels Fund Ethics Consortium Summit, the Southern Colorado Ethics Summit is designed to be an immersive and relevant educational experience that promotes and demonstrates the value of principle-based ethics. The Ethics Summit encourages direct interaction and conversation among participants in a series of keynote presentations, panels, and small group discussions. A primary focus is the engagement of business leaders to extend the Ethics Summit’s relevance and value beyond the campus and into the business world.

  1. Demonstrate that ethics education is critical and central to the creation of long-term value in business and society
  2. Increase the involvement of the business community in ethics education
  3. Expand awareness and impact of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative

Participants

Each of the invited schools selects participants to attend the Ethics Summit as their representatives:

  • Two to eight students
  • Two to four educators in addition to the ethics champion & school administrators
  • Two to four business leaders

The annual Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Collegiate Program at UCCS Southern Colorado Ethics Summit is April 29, 2022 in Pueblo, Colorado. Pueblo Community College will be our host.
