About the Center

The Weidner Norwood Center for Real Estate & Property Management at the UCCS College of Business serves as a hub for preparing students to enter and lead in the real estate industry through a blend of academic rigor and hands-on experience. Established in partnership with Weidner Apartment Homes and Norwood Development Group, the Center connects students with industry leaders, internships, and real-world learning opportunities while emphasizing ethical leadership and professional readiness.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the REPM program are prepared for a wide range of dynamic careers across the real estate industry, including roles such as property manager, leasing consultant, asset manager, and community association manager, with opportunities spanning residential, commercial, and investment properties. These positions offer clear advancement pathways, from entry-level, hands-on roles to regional and executive leadership, while developing skills in operations, finance, tenant relations, and strategic property oversight.

Bachelor's of Science in Business

Skilled Real Estate and Property Management (REPM) professionals are needed for the development, sustainability, and growth of every building, neighborhood, and industry in which we live and work each day. Graduates enter a high-growth field with diverse career pathways, including property management, real estate, and investment analysis. This program is hosted by The Weidner Norwood Center for Real Estate and Property Management.

Real Estate and Property Management Emphasis

Experiential Learning

Curriculum includes opportunities for internships and hands-on experience with local and national real estate and property management organizations, helping you build real-world skills and industry knowledge. 

Certifications Upon Graduation

Upon graduation you will have earned industry-recognized credentials such as the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), boosting your knowledge and marketability.
