Art
Dr. Eric M. Olson’s 1970’s era watercolors were recreated as full acrylic on canvas structured paintings in a one-person show titled “Hiatus" at the ENT Center for the Arts in April, 2023. Five of these paintings are now on-loan and displayed in Dwire Hall.
January-March 2026 the Cottonwood Center for the Arts in conjunction with the Colorado Springs Airport hosted a juried show of original art based on the theme “Window Seat - Views from the Stratosphere.” Dr. Olson’s digital triptych titled “Holding Pattern” was prominently featured.
July-October 2026 Cottonwood Center for the Arts invited Dr. Olson to display digital landscapes from his recent Ukiyo-AI series of Edo Period-inspired prints at the Plaza of the Rockies in downtown Colorado Springs. Below are a sample of the 14 displayed prints
