Purpose
The mission of the Olympic Sport Research Lab is to design, develop, and disseminate research to influence future-oriented Olympic sport education programming for our undergraduate and graduate students and the wider community.
Empowering Sport Learners: Supporting undergraduate and graduate student learning through research, coursework, and experiential opportunities.

Why Colorado Springs - Olympic City USA?
UCCS is fortunate to be a close neighbor to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and an active partner in promoting Colorado Springs as “Olympic City USA.” Our proximity to the USOPC and 25 National Governing Bodies (NGBs), the most of any U.S. city, provides students with unique opportunities to engage with leaders and professionals across the Olympic Movement. Through guest lectures, adjunct faculty, program collaborations, sport-related events, and industry experiences, UCCS students gain valuable exposure to sport governance, event management, performance science, and the global business of sport while building meaningful connections and applying classroom learning within the sport industry.
