DFEI Ethics Roundtables
DFEI Ethics Roundtables are held throughout the academic year and open to all UCCS faculty, staff, Southern Colorado Higher Education Consortium schools and Air Force Academy faculty with the intent to share their best practices, classroom experiences, subject specific course materials, and address specific concerns.
Roundtables provide UCCS faculty and staff along with invited guests the opportunity to hear about how others teach ethics and implement principle based ethics in their work or area of expertise.

She discussed how business organizations need leaders at all levels to understand ethics and compliance. “Ethics and compliance isn’t just left to the lawyers—it’s everyone’s responsibility” (LRN 2020).:The top five ethics and compliance risks include: conflicts of interest, data privacy, cybersecurity, hostile work environment, and bribery and corruption.
The ethics and compliance function is inherently interdisciplinary, demanding a variety of knowledge, expertise, and personality traits to implement a successful ethics program in an organization. The function requires both generalists and specialists to create a well-rounded staff.
