About International Business Seminars
Summer & Winter Short-Term Study-Abroad Programs
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and International Business Seminars proudly present this highly unique learning opportunity. For over 30 years, International Business Seminars has organized travel-abroad study programs that combine learning about international business with experiencing the cultural, social and political environments of some of the world's most interesting cities.
Participants in the International Business Seminars Program will investigate business policy, strategy and structure in an international context. The Seminars emphasize marketing and management functions and can be taken for 3 semester units of upper-division undergraduate (INTB4610) or graduate business credit (INTB6990). For MBA students, the credit could be applied toward an International Business Emphasis or as an Elective. Non-business majors may also be able to take the course for credit as an elective.
The overall purpose of the International Business Seminars Program is to allow participants to be exposed to international business practices outside the United States. Participants are also given an insight into the cultural, social and political environments of each country visited. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in international business, or related fields, to acquire a first-hand view of international business practices while experiencing the excitement of traveling abroad.
