Robin Bredl, MBA '18

"After gaining some work experience, an MBA will help you take your skills to the next level for strategic thinking and collaborative approaches."

  • What is your background?

I earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1995 from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have worked in the accounting field for over 15 years. I am currently working as a Financial Administrator at the College of Business at UCCS.

  • What were the factors that led you to pursuing the UCCS MBA?

I was looking for an accredited rigorous program that would enable me to better work as a manager within my chosen field of Accounting.

Flexibility with class times and a variety of elective choices were also key factors in choosing to pursue my MBA at UCCS.

  • How would you describe your experience as a student in the MBA program?

My experience was rewarding as I connected with fellow students in the program. Working collaboratively on case studies and projects led to an exchange of differing viewpoints, experiences, and backgrounds, which enhanced my knowledge base in many areas.

I was able to balance working full time and attending the MBA program in the evenings. I was able to complete the MBA in three years.

  • What would you tell other professionals if they asked you about pursuing an MBA?

After gaining some work experience, an MBA will help you take your skills to the next level for strategic thinking and collaborative approaches.
